Chuck White is the VP of Regulatory Affairs for the PHCC National.  In his role, he works with various regulatory agencies on matters of importance to the P-H-C industry.  Chuck will touch on several subjects, including Buy American, the 2021 version of the Commercial Building Codes that are in effect in Wisconsin in just a few weeks, vent pipe requirements found in the new code, and some of the federal changes related to things like Energy Star and Water Sense and what the next weeks/months/years might bring from Washington, DC.

Dean Petersen, who is a day school instructor at Madison College and works with PHCC Wisconsin on code training, will be presenting on the Water Demand Calculator and recent changes in some of the interpretations around grease interceptors.  The Water Demand Calculator is an evolving game-changer for the plumbing industry, perhaps the biggest change in 25+ years.  Dean will incorporate a portion of a presentation that he made recently at a national conference for IAPMO, and bring the information into focus as it relates specifically to Wisconsin.

Andrew Jacque is a water quality investigator.  If people are getting sick, Andrew is called in to figure out why.  Might be the piping, might be the water, might be the system design – whether original or modified by the property owner.  He’ll talk about the very root of the plumbing industry, which is public health and safety.  What’s in the water – from start to finish – matters!

There is no charge to attend, but you must RSVP.
